The treatment programme is designed for adults who experience insomnia or recurrent problems sleeping, and who feel poor sleep is negatively impacting their quality of life. Instead of worrying about sleep, they want to focus their energy back onto living their lives and thrive.
The treatment can help with:
– trouble falling asleep
– trouble staying asleep
– early morning waking
– feeling unrefreshed
– feeling anxious around sleep
– feeling low due to poor sleep
The first session explores in depth the nature of the sleep complaint and what factors are influencing it. Based on this, a bespoke sleep plan with goals and assignments will be created. This plan will be reviewed and amended depending on the client’s needs.
The treatment’s non-pharmacological approach combines sleep science and chronobiology with Mindfulness and Acceptance Commitment Therapy. It also incorporates behaviour change principles. The treatment is grounded in compassion and scientific evidence.
The 1-2-1 sleep programme consists of a minimum of 2 sessions.
